“I’m so excited to tell you about what happened @ church. First of all it was a 95% improvement from the week before. When I felt the small butterflies start up when I was waiting in front of the congregation to go up to the microphone, I tapped my hand & below my shoulder blade. I felt relaxed & confident. I eased through the announcements. I took a deep breathe after each announcement & took my time. I got tongue tied once but it was barely noticeable. I even looked up & kept talking. I wasn’t shaking @ all during the announcements & there was no quiver in my voice either, not even when I got tongue tied.

When I had to get up again @ the end of serve to announce the 2 new members. I was literally excited to do it and I didn’t make one mistake & I was able to look up almost the entire time except when I had to look at the paper to get the info to announce BUT I looked at the paper & raised my head to the crowd to say it! Thank you so much! I don’t even feel comfortable saying I have a fear of public speaking anymore because I don’t get those crazy feelings when thinking about it anymore. (It’s only been a couple days, how awesome is that!)

I was sooooo proud of myself. I can’t thank you enough for your help! I will keep you posted on my progress. Thank you again for everything…this has changed my life for the better!”
